Can I pay employees through M-Pesa?+
Absolutely. We support M-Pesa B2C bulk payments and direct bank transfers to Equity, KCB, Co-op, NCBA, ABSA, Standard Chartered, Stanbic and DTB.
What is the difference between the software and bureau service?+
With the software, your finance team runs payroll using our cloud platform. With the bureau service, our certified team runs the whole monthly cycle for you on the same platform.
How long does onboarding take?+
Typical onboarding for the Starter plan takes 1 to 2 days. Larger teams and bureau clients usually go live within a week.
I am an overseas company with a Kenyan subsidiary. Can Pay Kenya support us?+
Yes. We work with parent companies in the UK, EU, US, India, UAE and South Africa whose Kenyan teams need fully compliant local payroll.
What if I have more than 50 employees?+

Is my data secure?+
Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), hosted on AWS London, with daily backups and SOC 2-aligned controls.
Can I switch from another payroll provider?+
Yes. We do a free data migration from Sage, QuickBooks, Excel spreadsheets, and most local payroll systems. We will run a parallel month at no charge.
